The story:
Pulling its name from a term used to describe the “supernatural proof” of guilt during the Salem Witch Trials, this piece is part of a larger collection that remembers the women unjustifiably killed during the trials as well as throughout history.

My process:
These pieces take anywhere from three days to one month to create. Each line is individually drawn, then burned into the wood, and each overlapping layer is shaded. I enjoy the process as much as it is a fundamental element in my art. The time spent creating is just as important as the final piece because it rejects all things fast and disposable in our current world.
